A Reformed Ministry Serving Jesus Christ in the Metropolitan Area - and Beyond
Welcome
Welcome to Messiah's Congregation and thank you for visiting our web page. We hope to highlight our complete devotion to the Lord and our profound desire to see His Spirit work in our lives, our families, and our community. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site - or better yet! - come by for a visit. We would love to meet you face-to-face, and if you do, plan to make a day of it and stick around for a meal and fellowship with one of our families.
Messiah's Mission
Messiah’s Congregation is first and foremost a Reformed Church and within that blessed tradition, the Word of God is at the center of all that we endeavor to do. It is our three-fold purpose to glorify our Covenant Lord by faithfully representing His Word: from Messiah’s pulpit and in our corporate Worship; within the homes of Messiah’s families; and in witness and ministry to the community in which He has placed us.
Messiah's Members
“As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.” Given this exhortation, our use as Lampstands will prove vain if our families are not enabled to prosper spiritually and materially from the Word of God.

Messiah's Minister

On the occasion of Dorothy Marlah Brann's baptism, Pastor Steve took the opportunity to break from our Parshah schedule (we will begin Revelation next week) to engage topically upon the nature of the covenant in which we find ourselves, with an emphasis on Abraham as a case study. Looking to be fed from the Word?First, please review these texts: Genesis 15:1-21; 18:10-33; Exodus 12:14-13:16; Deuteronomy 6:20-25; 7:7-11; 8:19-20; 9:4-6; Ephesians 6:1-4; Genesis 18:10-21; Isaiah 59:1-4, 12-21; and Jeremiah 34:8-22.
